What is the Waiters’ Race?
To create a buzz and excitement about the launch of Bath Restaurant Week, we will be hosting a Waiters’ Race at one of the most iconic sights in Bath, the Royal Crescent.
The race will create the opportunity for 50 local hospitality businesses to create a team to race around the Royal Crescent. The race will be a relay, and each team member will carry a tray of drinks.
We will be inviting the press, influencers and the hospitality industry to celebrate the hospitality businesses of Bath.
Each team will be fundraising for Hospitality Action.
Timings
Meet us at the Royal Crescent to register and collect your aprons. The Races will start at 11am on 16th March.
Registration opens from 10.15am
First Race – 11am
Final – 12pm
Prize Giving – 12.15pm
Event closes at 1pm
Rules
- NO RUNNING – anyone found running will be disqualified
- The first 3 teams over the finish line in each heat, with all 3 glasses and the bun still on the tray, win!
- There must be some liquid left in one or more of the glasses to be included in the final
Registration
There is a £30 registration fee per team.
Each team is running to support a charity, we recommend a fundraising target of £50 minimum.
