STARTERS
– White Onion & Organic Cider Soup with aged Cheddar & Dried onions
– Grilled Goats Cheese Salad, cranberries, chicory, toasted walnuts & honey vinagrette
– Duck liver, vanilla & Armagnac parfait, woods preserve, toasted seeded baguette
MAIN COURSES
– Pan fried fillet of hake, white bean & roasted onion hummus, sprout & red cabbage slaw
– Oven roasted pork chop, buttered apple & tarragon sauce, watercress and mustard oil
– Crispy filo parcel of roasted sweet potato, green lentil, caramlised oyster mushroom & roasted aubergine, caraway rouille

Woods is the longest standing restaurant in Bath. Located opposite the Assembly Rooms in Alfred Street, with its Georgian elegance and warm atmosphere Woods has created an enviable reputation as one of Bath’s best independent restaurants.
A true family run restaurant, David Price and his French wife Claude have owned and run Woods since 1979. Head Chef Stuart Ash of 30 years, son Gaston, and daughter Gabby and son in law Joe are all part of the team. Woods delivers simple, fresh food stunningly presented at competitive prices. Woods comes in three parts, the bar area is perfect for a glass of wine and a dish of olives, a catch-up for a less formal lunch, dinner. The main dining room is great for intimate dinners, corporate meal and weddings. The private dining room works perfectly for private business parties a well-needed family reunion up to 40 guests.
A perfect selection of wines accompanies our world influenced dishes, sourcing ingredients locally and from international markets, to give a mouth-watering sensation that will leave you coming back for more!
